Booth Movers works hard to give our customers exceptional service. We pack, load, and even assemble furniture and other items at every new home. However, there are some items even we cannot move because it is dangerous or customer valuables could be harmed. If you aren't sure what we will and won't move, check out our list of 'non-allowable' items.


Non-Allowables

We are unable to handle everything as some items are too fragile, perishable, or hazardous for our movers. These non-allowables include food, perishables, animals, and even chemicals.

Let's review what Booth Movers won't move.

●  Pets: Sorry, we can't move any animals in our trucks. Pet owners will need to make other arrangements.

●  Perishable Items: We can't ensure that plants will survive the trip. Food may go bad during transport or while sitting at a customer's new home.

●  Flammables: Gasoline, lighter fluid, or propane tanks are all fire hazards. Be sure to remove all flammables, even cigarette lighters and matches, from your boxed items before we load them. Otherwise, your property may not be covered by our insurance if a fire starts.

●  Hazardous Materials: Acids, bases, and other chemicals are non-allowables. We may not be able to transport things such as nail polish remover or household cleansers. If it's a chemical, please ask us about it first!

A Word on Personal Items

We recommend that customers transport their personal items. Paperwork, family photo albums, and even money should be moved in a customer's vehicle. However, we understand the difficulties in moving a large number of sentimental items, especially across country.

Our team does provide special white glove services for items, such as fine art and antiques, that may help ease the effort in moving. If you aren't certain whether an item will be safe during the move, feel free to ask us about it. We can let you know if something is considered non-allowable.
